Terms and Conditions for The Inn at Punxsutawney
Welcome to The Inn at Punxsutawney. By booking a reservation or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before making a reservation or using our services.
1. Reservations and Cancellations
- Reservations: Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or through third-party booking platforms. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Guarantee Policy: A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. We may pre-authorize your credit card at the time of booking.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made by 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made within the designated timeframe will not be charged.
- No-Show Policy: Guests who fail to check in on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice will be charged for the first night of their stay.
2. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In Time: Check-in time begins at 3:00 p.m. Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Check-Out Time: Check-out time is by 11:00 a.m. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and additional charges.
- Identification and Payment: Valid identification and a credit card are required at check-in. Full payment for your stay will be authorized on your credit card at check-in, unless prepayment was made at the time of booking.
3. Rates and Fees
- Room Rates: All room rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees. Rates are subject to change without notice unless confirmed at the time of booking.
- Incidentals: Guests are responsible for any additional charges incurred during their stay.
4. Guest Responsibilities
- Occupancy Limits: The maximum occupancy is 2 persons for a Single King Guestroom. The maximum occupancy is 4 persons for a Two Queen Guestroom or a King Studio Guestroom. Exceeding the limit may result in additional charges or termination of the reservation.
- Damage or Loss: Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or loss of hotel items during their stay. Fees will be charged accordingly.
- Smoking Policy:The Inn at Punxsutawney is a non-smoking property. Smoking in rooms or public areas is strictly prohibited. A minimum cleaning fee of $250.00 plus tax will be applied if smoking is detected in your room.
5. Service Animals
Service animals accompanying individuals with disabilities are welcome at The Inn at Punxsutawney. Please notify us in advance if special accommodations are needed for your service animal.
6. Privacy Policy

7. Liability
- The Inn at Punxsutawney is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings left in guest rooms or public areas.
- Guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being during their stay.The Inn at Punxsutawney shall not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur on the property, except in cases of gross negligence on the part of the hotel.
8. Force Majeure
The Inn at Punxsutawney is not liable for any failure to fulfill its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of nature, natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The State of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jefferson County.
10. Amendments
The Inn at Punxsutawney reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective upon posting.
